How it all started
Asureti Riding Club is a family-owned stable shaped by more than 35 years of life with horses. What began with one horse has grown into a home for over 20, each raised and cared for with patience and respect.
Set in the quiet village of Asureti, just 40 minutes from Tbilisi, our 25-hectare property unfolds across open fields, forest trails, and paddocks — all created gradually, by hand, by our family.
We offer riding experiences for every level, from short, easy rides to multi-day journeys across Georgia’s landscapes. Forest paths, wide fields, and gentle hills define the rhythm of each ride.
Guests who prefer to stay grounded are welcome to spend time at the stables, meeting the horses, riding in paddocks or relaxing in our welcoming space.
Everything here is intentional. Our mission is simple: meaningful experiences for our guests, and a life of care and dignity for our horses.
We are a family team. Father and two daughters sharing decades of riding experience and a deep commitment to the wellbeing of every horse.

At Asureti Riding Club, the well-being of our horses comes first. Decades of hands-on experience have shaped a thoughtful, responsible approach to horse care, developed in close cooperation with veterinarians and local authorities.
We focus on both physical and emotional well-being. Each horse’s condition, workload, and rest are carefully monitored, with riding schedules adapted to individual needs. At the first sign of discomfort or stress, we pause and respond — always following best-practice welfare standards.
As a family-owned, owner-managed stable, we are present every day. Our head groom lives on the property, ensuring constant care, calm supervision, and consistency. Every horse here is treated with respect, attention, and intention.
Asureti is a historic Georgian village in Kvemo Kartli, located in the Tetritskaro municipality at 760–800 meters above sea level. Surrounded by forests, valleys, and open hills, the area has long been shaped by agriculture, movement, and traditional rural life.
The village has ancient Georgian roots and was historically inhabited until the 18th century, when repeated invasions led to its depopulation. In the 19th century, Asureti was resettled and developed further, gaining elements of European architecture that remain visible today. The village later returned to its original Georgian name and identity.
Today, Asureti is known for its calm atmosphere, natural beauty, and historic routes connecting villages, rivers, and hills. These landscapes create ideal conditions for horseback riding, offering quiet trails, wide views, and a strong sense of connection to Georgia’s countryside and past.
